Amazon Smartphone Fire Phone

Amazon seems already to launch its own Android powered smartphone in June, as per several reports from the industry. However, today we get a glimpse of what the Amazon phone might actually look like. Although its design is hidden away in protective casing, not revealing much but you can see the 5 cameras in the front. These are believed to give the user a glasses-free 3D experience on the phone. There will be a 6th camera at the back of unknown resolution. The display is pegged at 4.7-inch 720p and that the phone will run on a Snapdragon chipset with 2 GB RAM. But that's the extent of what we know about the Amazon phone.

Amazon devices are just a front for its store. Be it the Kindle, Kindle Fire or the Fire TV, Amazon just wants to sell you stuff. With breakeven profit margins on devices, Amazon can easily compete with the likes of Apple and Samsung. As being the world's largest online retailer, the 5 top items selling on Amazon are the company's own devices, easily giving the FireOS running phone its audience.

We expect the Amazon Phone to be launched sometime in June and with the number of leaks increasing it seems that an announcement is imminent.
