Android 4.4.2 hit the LG G Pad 8.3, HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Editions just a while back and now the Sony Xperia Z Ultra has got its taste of Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but just the Google Play Edition. Sony on the other hand updated just started rolling out Android 4.3 for the non-GPE variant.
The update brings bug-fixes and performance improvements. For the Xperia Z Ultra in particular it fixes the Uninstall app bug, due to which the entire UI used to crash when you tried to Uninstall a downloaded app from the Play Store app. Issues with Google voice commands have also been addressed.
