Android 51 Lollipop

Android 5.1 Lollipop is now official. Google has started rolling out compatible builds of Android 5.1 to its Nexus devices. The Motorola Nexus 6 and the HTC made Nexus 9 will be the first to get the update.

Google has added some new features and improvements to Android 5.1 Lollipop. You will now be getting HD voice support, Device Protection, and multi-SIM cards support all baked into the platform. All Android One devices launched in India are dual-SIM therefore it will be a great boost for them.

Now Device Protection seems most intriguing out of them all, with this your lost or stolen device will remain unlocked even after the device is restored to factory settings. Until you sign-in with your Google credentials, your phone won't unlock.

Quick Settings is also getting a usability makeover, you will now be able to connect to WiFi networks directly from here and also control paired Bluetooth devices.
