Apple's newly re-christened macOS Sierra is set for a final release on September 20th. Developers and some users have been enjoying the beta releases for some time now, and the complete rollout will be completed within the coming weeks.
The biggest change with Sierra is the inclusion of Siri, which now gives you hands-free access to information, files, other content on your Mac. Then there's Universal Clipboard which syncs copied content (text, images or videos) between your iPhone/iPad and Mac. So, you can now copy a link about something you were reading on your phone and then paste it on your mac to continue reading on the big screen.
Apple has also introduced a picture-in-picture mode which works with videos, allowing them to float over other apps. Apple Pay is also making its way to the web and you would now be able to use it to make online purchases. If you own the Apple Watch, your Mac now has the capability to unlock automatically as well.
MacOS Sierra is a free upgrade which will be available over the air starting September 20th.
