Coolpad has arrived in India, that too in Style with the Dazen X7, a flagship for the Dazen brand in India. It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display running on a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB non-expandable storage. The highlight here is the camera, you have a 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 6P lens, dual-tone flash and Optical Image Stabilization.
OIS is a first in this price segment of sub - Rs. 20000. The Coolpad Dazen X7 has been priced at Rs. 17,999 which is an excellent entry point with these specs. It competed with Xiaomi Mi 4 available within the same price bracket. Coolpad Dazen also announced an interesting "extended power technology" which will extend the battery-life of its smartphones by up to 50% without impacting day-to-day use or performance. At launch it won't be available, but the battery-extender will be added through an OTA update.
The front and back of the Dazen X7 are covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it comes with a metal frame. It will be available exclusively through Snapdeal via an Open Sale on June 9th for Rs. 17,999 in Gold and Titanium White colors.
