Fitbit had already made its India arrival back in June but today the company held its brand launch event in New Delhi to tell us its plans for India. Apart from online availability on Amazon Fitbit will be available in more than 300 Reliance Digital, Croma and Helios stores across India starting in September.

- Fitbit Surge Ultimate Fitness Super Watch with OLED screen (Rs. 19,990)
- Aria WiFi Smart Scale (Rs. 9,999)
With the launch of its fitness trackers Fitbit also announced the availability of its personal trainer app, FitStar. It is available for iOS devices as well as through the web app. FitStar would let users track daily activity and create a tailored exercise program based on your goals.

Saina Nehwal joined us through a video saying how the Fitbit surge helps her to stay fit and keep a track on her goals. Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff were present at the event as well. They also shared about how Fitbit made it easy for them to track their workouts and how it essentially became a part of their lifestyle throughout their shooting schedule. Shraddha Kapoor added how the FitBit flex had become a fashion accessory for her as well, alongwith a fitness tracker as its so light and easily blends with your outfit with different colored bands.
