Huawei may launch the Honor 6X in India on December 23rd. The 6X was launched in October in China packing the Kirin 655 SoC built on a 16nm architecture with 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options. But the highlight of the smartphone are its dual cameras on the back, the Honor 6X packs a 12MP main camera and then a secondary 2MP camera to capture depth information, something we have seen with previous-gen HTC flagships. The 8 MP front-facing camera too gets a wide angle lens and should appeal more to the youth. You also get a metal body with the Honor 6X and a fingerprint sensor on the back. The phone curves on the sides making it easier to grip and hold. In the front, there's a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display covered in hardened 2.5D curved glass for protection.

Coming back to the Kirin 655, it's built on a 16nm architecture which makes it more power efficient. It packs four cores clocked at 2.1GHz and another 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It's an improvement over the Kirin 650 we last saw on the Honor 5C. Mali-T830 GPU is expected to work well in gaming. You also get dual-SIM 4G VoLTE capabilities with the Honor 6X but it comes with a hybrid SIM card slot, so to expand storage you would have to sacrifice a SIM slot. In China, it comes in either 3GB RAM with 32 GB configuration or 4GB RAM with either 32GB or 64GB storage. At present, it's not known which variant would be launched in India or both.
Honor 6X Expected Pricing in India
Going by pricing in China, the Honor 6X should start at around Rs. 11999 in India. Here's the expected pricing of all variants:
