Huawei Honor 7

Huawei Honor 7 has just gone official in three variants, all clad in metal. There is a single-SIM, 16GB variant with LTE, a dual-SIM variant and the flagship of the bunch with 64GB onboard storage.

Inside the aluminium exterior, the Huawei Honor 7 runs on the 64-bit Kirin 935 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.2 GHz with two sets of quad Cortex A-53 cores in a big.LITTLE configuration. Mali-T728 GPU gets the graphics going. All variants come with 3GB RAM, 16 or 64GB storage with a microSD card slot for expansion. Coming to the build again, the Honor 7 has a 5.2-inch 1080p display and houses a 3100 mAh non-removable battery with quick charging option which charges it to 50% in half-hour and 100% in just 1 hour 25 mins. The Honor 7 measures in at 143.2 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 157g.

Connectivity options aren't limited either, there's 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, NFC and optional dual-SIM support. Now, even with that metal casing and 20 MP rear cameras the Honor 7 variants are quite affordable:

  • $322 for the base 16GB Model
  • $355 for the Dual-SIM LTE Variant
  • 64GB Honor 7 will cost $400

That's excellent pricing, we look forward to seeing it in India.
