HUAWEI has launched its latest tablet in the MatePad series, the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2026) in China, alongside the nova 15 series. The tablet is available in Standard, Soft Light, and Full Network variants, catering to learning, entertainment, and everyday use.
The MatePad 11.5 (2026) features a full-metal unibody crafted using aluminum extrusion forging and bending techniques. This design reduces thickness by 10% while increasing structural strength by 30%. Rounded micro-arc edges enhance grip comfort. The tablet measures 262.6 × 177.5 × 6.1 mm and weighs around 515 g.
It comes with a 2.5K display offering a resolution of 2456 × 1600 pixels, up to 600 nits peak brightness, 256 PPI pixel density, and an adaptive refresh rate that switches between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. Display highlights include:
- Soft Light variant with nano magnetically controlled optical coating that cuts reflectivity by 60 percent
- Nano-etching anti-glare technology that removes up to 99 percent of ambient interference light
- Circular polarization technology that transforms linearly polarized light into circular light for a more natural viewing experience

For photography, the tablet packs a 13MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, along with an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The Standard version is powered by the Kirin T82B chipset, while the Soft Light version uses the Kirin T82. It runs HarmonyOS 5.1 and is offered with 8GB or 12GB RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
A three-dimensional heat dissipation matrix ensures stable performance during prolonged usage. The tablet houses a 10,100 mAh battery (10,000 mAh rated), delivering up to 14 hours of local video playback and supporting 40W fast charging. Audio is handled by quad speakers and dual microphones with HUAWEI Histen 9.0, while hidden dual antennas improve Wi-Fi performance.

The MatePad 11.5 (2026) comes in Feather Sand Purple, Frost Silver, Island Blue, and Deep Space Gray. It will be available from December 25, 2025, on Huawei Mall, authorized e-commerce platforms, Huawei Experience Stores, and authorized retailers. Pre-orders have started now.
