Huawei announced its first Android Wear smartwatch at MWC 2015 dubbed the Huawei Watch. It comes with a metal build, in silver and gold casing or you can get the more demure black option. But it is expected to carry a hefty price-tag of about ... $1000. With the Apple Watch launch just around the corner, this pricing clearly brings things into perspective where the Android Wear smartwatches are heading.
According to inside sources, one of the Huawei Watch variants might go north of $1000 making it the priciest Android Wear smartwatch.
Coming to the watch, it features a completely round display with very thin bezels and its actually the most normal looking Android Wear watch out there. There's a 1.4-inch (400x400 pixels) display in there and its powered by the Snapdragon 400 processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB storage found on other Android Wear smartwatch.
