Karbonn has tied up with Flipkart to launch four budget smartphones running Android starting at Rs. 2699. The new phones are Karbonn Smart A50S, A52+, A12 Star and A11 Star. All are powered by an unspecified 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. All these smartphones will be available in Black and White colors.
Karbonn Smart A50S
The Karbonn Smart A50S is the cheapest of the bunch at Rs. 2699. It comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA display running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with 256 MB RAM. There's a 2 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 MP VGA front-facing camera as well. It is a dual-SIM, dual-standby device. It is a 2G smartphone.
Karbonn Smart A52+
The Smart A52+ features the same specs as the A50S including the 3.5-inch HVGA display, 512 MB RAM, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 2 MP rear-camera and a VGA front-facing camera running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The A52+ is also a dual-SIM device with 3G connectivity and will be available for Rs. 3099.
Karbonn Smart A12 Star
The Smart A12 Star has a 4-inch WVGA display, 5 MP primary camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera running Android 4.4.2 KitKat right out of the box. It is a dual-SIM smartphone with 3G connectivity, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM. The Smart A12 Star has been priced at Rs. 4099.
Karbonn Smart A11 Star
Karbonn Smart A11 Star comes with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch WVGA display, 5 MP primary camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. The Smart A11 Star also runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat like the A12 Star. The Karbonn Smart A11 Star has been priced at Rs. 4499.
