Lava Iris X1

Lava Iris X1 has been launched in India featuring a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 SoC, last seen on the XOLO Q1000 Opus with VideoCore IV GPU running Android 4.4.2 KitKat right out of the box with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display and 1 GB RAM. The Iris X1 come with 4 GB Internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB using a microSD card slot. There's a 8 MP primary camera at the back with BSI Sensor, Dual-LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing unit as well.

The battery on the Iris X1 is a bit of a disappointment at just 1800 mAh. In terms of connectivity you get 3G, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM Radio and Dual-SIM support. The Lava Iris X1 is relatively quite thin at about 8.9 mm and weighs 138 grams.

The new 'X' series for Lava signifies a new design language for the company coupled with excellent performance. Its going head-to-head with the Moto E and the recently launched Micromax Unite 2, both running Android KitKat.

The Iris X1 will be available in Black and White colors starting tomorrow on Amazon.in with a 16 GB microSD card free for Rs. 7999.
