Lenovo has begun sending out invites for its latest event in India where the company aims to launch an affordable 4G Android smartphone. The Lenovo A6000 was showcased at CES this week and comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, 64-bit Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with Adreno 306 GPU running Android 4.4 KitKat.

The A6000 is a budget handset, therefore you won't be surprised with just 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage which is expandable. This is a dual-SIM smartphone with 4G support for the Indian market. There's an 8 MP rear and 2 MP front camera here as well. A 2300 mAh battery keeps the lights on.

Lenovo A6000 will compete with the likes of the Micromax YU Yureka and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G when it hits the market. Priced at a similar bracket, the company aims to get ahead in the 4G race. The Lenovo A6000 will be a Flipkart exclusive as well just like the Redmi Note 4G.
