Lenovo A7000 India Launch

Lenovo A7000 has just been launched in a unique event in New Delhi. The Lenovo A7000 was launched at a PVR in Saket where the company showed off the audio capabilities of the smartphone which is one of the first phones to come with Doby Atmos surround sound technology. Dolby Atmos till now only made it to movie halls and home theater, hence the launch setup.

Coming back to the specs, the Lenovo A7000 falls strictly in the phablet domain with a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572M processor with 64-bit support, 2 GB RAM and 8 GB of expandable storage. There’s 4G LTE support baked in as well. Coming to the camera front, the Lenovo A7000 has an 8 MP rear camera with Sony Sensor and 5 MP front camera.  There’s a 2900 mAh removable battery to keep the phone ticking.

Lenovo A7000 has been priced at Rs. 8999 and at this price it competes with the recently launched Huawei Honor 4X, Redmi Note 4G and the Yu Yureka. However, all these feature a higher megapixel count for the rear camera. The A7000 will be available in Yellow, Red, Black colors in India exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 9999 starting April 10th.
