The same excellent 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture lens makes a comeback with OIS 2.0, laser autofocus. LG has further improved the camera experience by adding a manual mode in videos using which you can control shutter-speed, frame-rate, ISO, white balance and focus. Moreover there are two front-cameras on the LG V10 as well, one with 80-degree lens and another with 120-degree wide-angle lens. LG uses an algorithm to combine images from both the cameras to get a wide-angle shot with different points of view. Multi-view recording has also been added which utilizes all three cameras to capture a shot at different angles.

LG has also added a fingerprint sensor on the V10 which is embedded in the power button at the back, it lets you unlock the device with a simple tap as you'd expect. A 32-bit Hi-Fi Audio DAC has also been added for hi-fi music playback alongwith one of the first implementation of Qualcomm's TruSignal antenna boosting technology for better and wider signal reception.

The company continues its trend of making practical smartphones with a removable 3000 mAh battery which supports Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0 capable of 50% charge in 40 minutes. There is a separate microSD card slot as well to expand the 32GB inbuilt storage up to 2TB. The company has also worked on the build of the device, the frame of the V10 is based on SAE grade 316L stainless steel alongwith DuraSkin at the back and bottom for better grip and added strength. All of this makes the LG V10 capable of withstanding drops up to 1.2 meters with MIL-STD 810G rating.

Given the added strength to the body with the metal frame, larger display, the LG V10 is a bit hefty at 192 grams and 8.6mm in thickness.
