Micromax Bolt S301 launched in India with 3G dual-SIM connectivity priced at Rs. 2899. With the launch of the S301, the company also stated that every 4th smartphone sold in the 3G category is a Micromax device, that's a 25% market share which is no mean feat.
The Bolt S301 comes with a 3.5-inch FWVGA display running on a 1 GHz single-core processor with 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and 1200 mAh Battery. Now, this is an entry-level smartphone and keeps the price accordingly. There's nothing worth mentioning in the camera department, though you have a VGA front and 1.3MP fixed-focus rear cameras here.
Storage is expandable on the Bolt S301 upto 16GB via a microSD card slot. Moreover, Micromax also added that they are considering upgrading this phone to Lollipop, something we will believe only when it happens.
