Micromax invests in health & fitness start-up, HealthifyMe based out of Bengaluru

Micromax today announced its investment in HealthifyMe, a digital fitness start-up based out of Bengaluru in India. HealthifyMe focuses on calorie tracking, fitness and nutrition needs based on people's lifestyles and allow them better to manage their weight. At present HealthifyMe is a free service available on both Android and iOS. But it offers a premium tier with nutritionists, fitness trainers and yoga experts all chiming in through the app itself.


Microsoft also said that they have setup a Mergers & Acquisitions team, headed by Kumar Shah for

actively sourcing and working with startups across major technology markets such as Silicon Valley, Europe, Israel and India to bring in the best products and capabilities.


Regarding the investment, Rahul Sharma, Co-Founder, Micromax, said
