Today, Microsoft has started taking pre-orders of Surface Duo dual-screen Android phone that was announced last year in October for it in the US and also revealed the complete specifications. It has a 5.6-inch PixelSense AMOLED display, after opens up to expansive 8.1-inch PixelSense display that has a Dynamic 360-degree hinge, which allows you to use each screen individually or together, across a variety of modes.
It comes with features where you open up two apps side by side, cross-reference information, and drag and drop to effortlessly move images, text and files between screens so you can get things done quicker. It also comes with pre-installed Office, Outlook, Teams, Edge, OneNote, OneDrive, Microsoft To-Do, and more apps that have reworked to be used in two screens.
The company has developed new manufacturing processes to actively align pixels across screens. The proprietary digitizer algorithms even consider when you are crossing the seam with your finger, making it feel like it’s one fluid screen. Within the dynamic 360-degree hinge, custom-designed cables connect the displays to work together, across a variety of postures. The completely new designed of dual-system architecture to deliver optimal performance and battery life within the thinnest, lightest design possible. The layout of the motherboard and multi-cell battery, to the placement of inertial sensors, mics, and antennas, was purposefully designed to unlock an entirely new interaction model across two screens.

The Microsoft Surface Duo comes in Glacier color, and it will be available from September 10 in the USA, and the pre-order has started today through MicrosoftStore, AT&T, and BestBuy.
