These might be the first images of the Moto G (2015) 3rd generation. Codenamed Osprey, it bears the model number XT1543. The image above has been circulating for some time on the interwebs. But the yet unannounced phone has made it to a video as well, showing a few specs, benchmarks in the process.
The video highlights that the new Moto G 2015 would come with a 5-inch display, 1 GB RAM, 8GB internal storage alongwith a microSD card slot for expansion. A 13MP camera would be found at the back and a 5MP camera for selfies would be found on the front. The 2015 Moto G will allegedly run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop right out of the box and come with 4G LTE connectivity. AnTuTu scores showed a marked improvement to 23,335 which is consistent with the Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor expected to feature in the new Moto G. Dual-speaker configuration in the front can also be seen in this video.
There aren't many changes in design with the new Moto G, but that's not a bad thing. The back does seem flatter but the sides are rounded.
