Motorola is prepping to update its popular Moto devices to Android 5.1 Lollipop including the forgotten Moto X 1st Gen. The Moto X first-gen is still running on Android 4.4 KitKat while most other have received their taste of Lollipop including the 1st Gen Moto G, 2nd Gen Moto X and 2nd Gen Moto X.
The Moto E (2nd Gen) was launched running Android 5.0 Lollipop and is also on line to receive the new update. Motorola has uploaded release notes on Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the Moto X (1st Gen) and Moto X (2nd Gen) on its Brazil website and now we are seeing update release notes available on T-Mobile and AT&T in the US for the Moto E (2nd Gen) and Moto X (2nd Gen).
Curiously the Moto G (both 1st and 2nd Gen), Moto E (1st Gen) are missing from the current update release notes. But knowing Motorola, updates for these won't be behind as well.
