Motorola Moto 360

Right at the heels of Google announcing, Android Wear, a customized leaner version of Android for wearables, Motorola went official with its own smartwatch running on Android Gear called the Moto 360.

The Moto 360 is unique in a way that it has a circular display more akin to traditional watches than say the LG G Watch (Google Nexus smartwatch) or the Galaxy Gear which have rectangular displays. Running on Android Wear, the Moto 360 will allow for always-on Google Now functionality and wait for you to utter "OK Google" for quite literally talking to your watch. You will be able to set reminders, set alarms, appointments, send text as well as take notes.

That's not all the Moto 360 smartwatch will also be able to tell who is calling you or has emailed you with just a twist of the wrist alongwith your next appointment or friend's status update. Motorola has worked really hard to make the 360 look more like a traditional watch with a round-face design and use of premium materials, you can watch the design video from the company for a look at the process.

At present there is no word on price but the Moto 360 will be available in summer 2014.
