New Motorola Moto G

Moto G successor which was being dubbed as the Moto G2 might just be called, the Moto G. A leaked image from a Flipkart warehouse shows the new packaging of the yet unannounced smartphone and the box still reads Moto G. You can see the change in design with the dual-front speakers and new colors on the box as well. The Moto G was a huge success first time around but this time it faces stiff competition from the Xiaomi Redmi 1S which brings similar specs at just Rs. 5999.

The new Moto G will come with a larger 5-inch 720p display, quad-core Snapdragon 400 with 1 GB RAM, 8 MP primary camera, 2 MP front-camera, dust and water resistance and a micro-SD card slot for starage expansion. According to a new leak this morning the Moto X+1 might also just be called the new Moto X.

Design changes on the Moto G include narrower display bezels making the phone compact like its predecessor and the new front-facing speaker like the Moto E.

Thanks Rajesh for sending this in.
