Moto G Forte is now official in Mexico, but its not quite what we had in mind. Its the same as the regular Moto G but comes with a Grip Shell fit on it right out of the box. Rest of the specs, including the 720p HD display, Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM all of it remain the same. Its just a cover that's included within the package and considering it costs an additional $19.99 otherwise, its a good bargain.
We are heartbroken that Motorola didn't unveil a rugged Moto G which might have been waterproof and dustproof as well. It really seemed on the cards especially considering Motorola's prowess at making such handsets like the Moto Defy.
The Moto G Forte is now available on Mexican carrier Nextel and comes bundled with 50 GB of Google Drive storage free alongwith the Moto G Grip Cover. Although we are not quite sure shy Motorola had to give the phone another name. Nevertheless, if you are looking to buy a new phone in Mexico, the Moto G Forte awaits.
