Lava Iris Air Gestures Support

Lava has just announced that the company is planning to launch a new Iris smartphone which will be a "Touch Phone, That's Handsfree". The company behind the Iris line of android smartphones further added that users will be able to communicate with the device using signs instead of just touch input.

This cool feature will allow a user to interact with the phone and use the camera with just a swipe of his hand in the air.

Although there is no concrete evidence to support this claim, its hearsay at the moment but Lava added more spice to the mix saying it would be the slimmest device in its category and would run the latest build of Android. The Air Gestures supporting Lava Iris smartphone will also have an intelligent flip-cover which would probably wake-up or activate sleep mode on the device when the cover is opened or closed. There's no information on the display resolution or processor the device is going to use, but it would be a flagship device for the company.
