Alongwith the Nexus 5X, Google today also launched the Huawei Nexus 6P in India. In typical phablet fashion, where just being large is not enough, you have a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display here at a massive 518 PPI but the weight is well balanced and its actually quite a bit smaller than last years' Nexus 6.

The Nexus 6P is an intimidating smartphone come to the looks of it. The 6P is completely made of anodized aluminium with sloping slides which make the humongous giant easier to grip. There is a black bar at the back which houses the new 12.3MP Sony camera which might be to everyone's taste.

Huawei Nexus 6P Specs and Photos

Huawei chose to run with Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor on the Nexus 6P, which has been known to overheat but its been said time and again that the issues have been fixed with the new chips. Now, it is a large device but with a thin footprint of just 7.3mm. That coupled with a large 3450 mAh battery makes the Nexus 6P even more impressive and you also have fast charging built-in with the USB Type-C port.

Now, just like the Nexus 5X, the 6P also runs Android Marshmallow and brings all the goodness of improved UI, better battery-life, security and performance. Then there's the new Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor here as well.

The Nexus 6P will be available on pre-orders starting today at Rs. 39,999 for the 32GB storage variant and Rs. 42,999 for the 64GB storage variant on Flipkart. Again, just like the Nexus 5X , the Nexus 6P will be available through offline channels as well including The Mobile Store, Sangeetha Mobiles, Chroma, Bajaj Electronics, Ezone and the likes. There are a few launch offers as well, you can get a free Chromecast worth Rs. 2999 with the new Nexus 6P or Logitech Bluetooth speaker worth Rs. 2499.
