OnePlus 7 Series is Launching Today. Here's Everything You Need to Know!

Today is a big day for OnePlus fans, the company is launching its much awaited OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 pro smartphones tonight. OnePlus has been slowly and gradually leaking information about its flagship-killer, OnePlus 7 Pro. But pricing is going to be key.

If the OnePlus 7 Pro goes above 45,000 INR, it will be competing with the iPhone XR and the Samsung Galaxy S10e.

According to leaks and renders, the OnePlus 7 will come with a 6.2-inch Optic AMOLED display. The design of the phone will be similar to the OnePlus 6T. The difference would be the internals with the Snapdragon 855 taking charge with up to 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

It is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup featuring a 48MP f/1.6 OIS primary camera along with 5MP Telephoto camera. In the front, you will get a 16-megapixel selfie-shooter similar to the Oneplus 6T. It will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 4000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge in tow.

OnePlus 7 Pro

On the other hand, the OnePlus7 pro will feature a larger 6.64-inch QHD+ Optic AMOLED HDR10+ display and 90Hz refresh rate. It will run on the same Snapdragon 855 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and 256 GB internal non-expandable storage.

It will have a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP f/1.6 OIS primary camera, 8MP 3X Optixal Zoom Telephoto camera and a 16MP 117° ultra-wide camera. In the front you will get a 16MP motorized selfie camera. It will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 4000mAh battery capable of 30W Warp Charge.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will be come in a 5G version only in UK. There is no Official information about the launch of the Oneplus 5G version in India.

OnePlus also became the first ever phone brand to be associated with a cover image on the National Geographic Magazine for its upcoming special edition. The cover photo you see above was shot on the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Coming to their price, according to previous leaks, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be available for:

  • 6GB/128GB Variant - INR 49,999 ($723)
  • 8GB/256GB Variant - INR 52,999 ($766)
  • 12GB/256GB Variant - INR 57,999 ($838)
