Oppo has begun rolling out ColorOS 2.0 update for the Find 7 and Find 7a which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat. Although you might be thinking that with the release of Android 5.0 Lollipop, the timing is a bit wrong.

But its still a substantial update with a lot of new features and usability improvements. There's one caveat here, its not an OTA update. So you would need to download the update and place it in the root directory of the phone's storage. You can watch the video below to see how to update your Oppo.

After that you can do into the Recovery mode and then update the phone. The update is about 1 GB is size and will take some time to install.

The major changes to the UI include a single layer launcher, which removes the app drawer, quite like Xiaomi's MIUI. You also get full Google Now support and there are some new gestures that have been added. You can watch the video to see ColorOS 2.0 in action.
