Realme has launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the Neo series the Realme GT Neo6 in China, following last month's release of the GT Neo6 SE. It Features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 0.5-120Hz 8T LTPO AMOLED display sourced from BOE, it boasts Pro-XDR display technology, 3+1 Pluse low-frequency flicker DC dimming, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of up to 6000 nits, with a global maximum brightness reaching 1600 nits and a manual maximum brightness of 1000 nits. The device is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added durability.
Under the hood, the GT Neo6 runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It features a robust cooling system with a 10014mm² super 10,000-level cooling VC+ mid-frame ice-sealed structure, akin to those found in flagship models. Additionally, it comes with GT mode 5.0 and Geek Performance Panel 2.0 for optimized performance.
The camera setup comprises a 50MP primary rear camera equipped with a Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while a 32MP front camera caters to selfie needs.
Keeping the device powered is a substantial 5500mAh battery with support for 120W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of charging up to 50% in just 10 minutes. It also incorporates a SUPERVOOC S power management chip, ensuring the battery maintains over 80% health even after enduring 1600 charging cycles or four years of usage, according to realme.
