Samsung, it seems is not done with the Core series, after the Core 2 we now have the Galaxy Core Max (SM-G5108) with a 4.8-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor (unspecified chipset) with 1 GB RAM running Android 4.4 KitKat.

Its good to see Samsung pack a good display on a mid-range device especially considering how horrible the display on the Core 2 was.

There's 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable with a microSD card slot. You also get a 8 MP primary camera with LED flash on the Core Max alongwith a 5 MP front-facing camera.

The Core Max is a 4G LTE smartphone with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS connectivity options. Its a rather thin device at about 8mm weighing in at 132 grams. At present there are no details about price or global availability, but you can expect it to be officially unveiled soon.
