Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 have just gone official in India. The new 4G LTE budget smartphones are aimed at the youth, so the focus here is on performance, gaming and cameras.
On that front Samsung has packed its own Exynos 3475 with the Galaxy On5 while the Galaxy On7 runs on an unnamed quad-core processor. Following on Samsung's current naming convention, the Galaxy On5 comes with a 5-inch HD display while the Galaxy On7 gets a 5.5-inch HD display. Both come with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB expandable storage running Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Although both the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 get 5MP front cameras, On5 has a 8MP camera at the back and On7 a 13MP one. The battery on the On5 is a bit smaller as well at 2600 mAh while the bigger On7 gets a 3000 mAh unit.
Now lets come to pricing, the Galaxy On5 will be available starting midnight tonight, November 4th at Rs. 8990 while the Galaxy On7 will go for Rs. 10,990. Both will be offered exclusively through Flipkart just like the previous J series smartphones. There will be some launch offers as well.
