The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset, accompanied by Google's Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) to enhance its AI functionalities, according to information shared by tipster Connor (@OreXda) on X (formerly Twitter). Earlier reports have indicated Samsung's plans to incorporate the Exynos 2500 chipset in the Galaxy S25 to bolster its AI capabilities, leveraging Google's TPU.

This aligns with Google's Pixel 8 series, which utilizes the Google Tensor G3 (4 nm) chip for on-device AI tasks and faster Google Mobile Services (GMS) operations.

As per the tipster's information, Samsung has been continuously refining its neural and digital signal processors, progressing from the Exynos 2200 to the Exynos 2400. However, these advancements have had minimal impact on the Android Machine Learning (ML) layer or Google Mobile Service System App Services.

Rumors suggest that the Exynos 2500 SoC in the Samsung Galaxy S25 could incorporate one G-NPU, one S-NPU, and a new TPU component, aiming to optimize AI performance. Furthermore, it's mentioned that following the One UI 6.1 update, the Galaxy AI Model and Android Machine Learning Interface will seamlessly integrate with Galaxy AI Devices, ensuring smoother functionality.

The TPU activation will occur when the app detects Google ML API code, enhancing operational speed and efficiency. Recent leaks concerning the Exynos 2500 specifications indicate it as a deca-core chip featuring a 3.3GHz~3.2GHz Cortex X5 Prime Core.

It's anticipated that the Exynos 2500, constructed on the company's advanced 3nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) process, will house a single G-NPU, while the Exynos 2400 will possess both G-NPU and S-NPU capabilities.
