Japan is a land of changing fortunes for the mobile majors, Samsung has already begun losing ground in the country and after the initial success of the iPhone, it seems that Sony's mini avatar the Xperia Z1f is ready to take the crown away from the iPhone 5S. In a report coming from the country, the Xperia Z1f has outsold the iPhone 5S becoming the best selling device.
That is quite an achievement, but nothing that surprising since the Xperia Z1f packs quite a punch with its 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM and 4.3-inch 720p IPS display. But its major advantage is the excellent 20.7MP camera, the same one found on the Xperia Z1. The Xperia Z1f or Xperia Z1 Mini or Xperia Z1s is not yet available internationally but a CES 2014 reveal seems imminent.
