Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its latest flagship smartphones in the Xiaomi 12S series the Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, and Xiaomi 12S Ultra on July 4th in China, after rumors. These will be equipped with Leica optics for the first time.

Based on the earlier rumors, all these phones will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and the Mi 12S Pro is also expected to be powered by the new Dimensity 9000, but without a Leica camera and 67W fast charging compared to 120W charging in the Xiaomi 12S Pro. This could be the cheapest model in the Xiaomi 12 series.
The Xiaomi Mi 12S Ultra could feature a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ 1-120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB storage, and has 50MP IMX989 main rear camera along with 48MP ultra-wide-angle and 48MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 120x zoom, Leica Imaging system and Leica imaging algorithm, ToF and laser autofocus. It will be powered by a 4800mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
