Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi 4 in India on January 28th in an event in New Delhi. Although the Xiaomi Mi 4 was launched back in July 2014, the company has been having a tough couple of months due to its legal tussles, but they are clearly still marching on unfazed.
The invitation reads "You're invited to a front row view ... Mi hits a 4 and a 6" which might hint at a new device to be launched at the event other than the Mi 4.
Nevertheless, the promised Mi 4 is heading to India possibly alongwith the Mi Pad. The Xiaomi Mi 4 comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, 2.5 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB RAM running MIUI on Android 4.4 KitKat. There's a 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX214 BSI Sensor, 4K video recording and 8 MP front camera.
There's 4G LTE support baked in as well, and it comes in 16 GB or GB flavors. There's a 3080 mAh battery in there as well. Like other Xiaomi phones the Mi 4 will launch on Flipkart as well for a price tag less than Rs. 20,000.
