Xiaomi is gearing up for another launch event on July 27th, where the next Redmi smartphone, the Redmi Note 4 is expected to make an appearance.
Lei Jun, Xiaomi Founder had said earlier that the company would be accelerating launch of new smartphones in the second half of 2016 and it seems that has come to fruition. The news comes from Xiaomi's new brand ambassador in China for Redmi devices, Actor Liu Hao Ran who posted about the July 27th event which is to be held at the Beijing National Convention Center.
There has been talk of the new Mi Note 2 as well as the Xiaomi Mi 5s which is also supposed to come with a dual-camera setup and 6GB RAM. But lately we have been hearing of a new Xiaomi device codenamed 'Altun' which may be the Redmi Note 4, also expected to come with a dual-camera setup at the back, Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8.
Xiaomi generally launches multiple smartphones, devices at its events, so we may indeed see the new Xiaomi Mi 5s as well.
