XOLO has confirmed that it is working on Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Q700s, Q1010i and the Q3000. The update will begin rolling out in June, but there are no fixed dates. XOLO has also said they will be launching new phones running Android KitKat right out of the box in the coming months.
The company recently updated its Q1000 Opus to Android KitKat, which is a first in the sub Rs. 10000 segment and one by an Indian manufacturer. While most phones here still run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean XOLO has taken the initiative to combat Motorola's Moto E and Moto G which come with Android KitKat.
