Yahoo! continues its push into the mobile ecosystem with its updated Weather and Mail apps. Yahoo! Weather brings a new UI, available only for iOS at present, uses images sourced from Flickr to show you what the weather is like in your town with a fullscreen image. Instead of generic animations for storms, clouds and rain, it uses images tagged with location, weather conditions and time of day to show you what the weather may actually be like in your city right now.
It's not just a "pretty" app, the Weather app also brings in detailed weather information on swiping vertically on the homescreen of the app, then there are weather forecasts alongwith ability to check weather for your favorite locations which you can choose.

Yahoo! Mail for tablets brings in a fullscreen viewing experience for your email, you can flip through emails like a magazine. There are several new Message actions as well, like selecting and grouping emails by sender and with a swipe you can delete, star or move them all in specific folders.
