Samsung I8190 Galaxy S III mini Reviews

Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini Review at CNET

I like the Samsung Galaxy Axiom's design, battery life, and price -- all positive traits that make me inclined to recommend the phone to the carrier's customers. However, the Android 4.0 smartphone's two biggest deal-breakers for me -- the call quality and data performance -- are still in the air as far as I'm concerned, since I wasn't able to truly test them in the carrier's own realm. For the features and price point, I'd also check out the LG Splendor and Motorola M before making my final decision, though the Axiom's camera has the edge over both. Read more...

Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini Review at Engadget

Oh, Samsung, what did you do? We think we know what you thought you were doing. A cheaper phone for those who want a little bit of the Galaxy S III experience, for less money, in a more manageable form. And that's what the Galaxy S III mini actually is. We get that, and what's not to like about that idea? Sure, some people will have taken things a little more literally and expected a flagship device -- in a smaller package -- but that's just not what this is. What you do have, however, is a decent mid-range phone with top end looks. So, for those in search of such a thing, the Galaxy S III mini will be just the ticket, and we're in no doubt that's potentially a lot of people. There was a chance, however, that if done differently, this could have taken the Galaxy S III "brand," in a whole new direction. Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini Review at Pocket-lint

There's a lot to like about the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini. The range of tweaks that Samsung has layered in is impressive, it looks good and it's a flexible phone with the option to expand the memory and swap the battery if you need to.

The software experience visually has plenty of refinement, although there are some things, like the S Planner that don't suit our tastes. But within that we hit the problem. Although there's plenty of enhancement on offer, it's not the additional features like pop-out video that you notice, it's the sluggishness of general navigation.

That's something of a problem, because throughout the time we’ve been using the SGS3 Mini, it has been the keyboard, or the lag in navigation, or unexpected delays, that we've really noticed. Read more...

Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini Review at TechRadar

We really liked the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. It ticks all the right boxes, and comes in at a very decent price. The truth of the matter is, though, that it's launching right smack bang against the Google phone, the Nexus 4.

Every time we looked at the Galaxy S3 Mini we were impressed. It beats the Nexus 4 in many areas, it has microSD support and a fantastic interface, but the Nexus has the impressive stock Android. Read more...

Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini Review at T3

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini looks like a Galaxy S3 but has been stripped of all the things that made that smartphone the T3 smartphone of the year. It doesn’t look as nice as an iPhone 4, doesn’t have the camera skills of Sony smartphones and has a lesser screen than the Motorola Razr i. The real killer is that it doesn’t cost that much less than a Galaxy S3 which means, once you’ve seen one, it’s hard to accept second best. Read more...
