Ai+ has officially confirmed the launch of its first Flip smartphone, the Ai+ Nova Flip 5G in India on April 9th, after a teaser. The device will be introduced alongside the Nova 2 5G and Nova 2 Ultra 5G.
Design and Display -
The Ai+ Nova Flip 5G adopts a classic clamshell folding design and features an ultra-slim 7.2mm profile, according to the brand. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and an enhanced viewing experience. Additionally, the device includes an outer cover display for quick access to notifications and essential functions.
Hardware and Software -
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, a processor commonly seen in modern clamshell foldables. The device supports dual SA/NSA 5G connectivity for broader network compatibility. On the software front, it runs Android-based nxtQ OS, the company’s custom interface focused on enhanced privacy controls and smart features.

The Nova Flip 5G features a dual-camera system on the outer cover, along with a front-facing camera embedded within the inner display:

The device is backed by a 4,325mAh battery, which the company claims is capable of delivering all-day usage on a single charge.
