Android Pay Singapore

Google is accelerating its plan for Android Pay by setting foot in Asia with Singapore being the first country. Android Pay is already available in the US and UK, where it has gathered some lead over rival services.

Android Pay works with MasterCard and Visa options from DBS, OCBC Bank, POSB, Standard Chartered and UOB. You would be able to use it at BreadTalk, 7-11 stores, Cold Storage, McDonald's, NTUC Fair Price, StarHub, Toast Box, Uniqlo and Watsons stores.

Google is also working to include loyalty programs to benefit customers, including the likes of NTUC Link Plus, CapitaLand Capitastar which gets you bonus points for using their cards at retail outlets. Android Pay has also been integrated in several apps for easy payment, which should now be available in Singapore as well.

Although Google hasn't exactly paved a path to where Android Pay is going to land next, but it seems with its entry into Asia, the next step would be to enter China and India.
