If rumors are to be believed, Apple has locked down the display size of the iPhone 6 at 4.8-inches alongwith a newer design. Timothy Arcuri of Cowen & Company said citing Apple's supply chain sources that apart from the larger display the new iPhone 6 will also have several software innovations which will be a part of the upgrade to iOS 7 alongwith support for WiFi 802.11ac.
Apple may also be looking into alloys to make the casing of the new iPhone which was termed as liquidmetal in a recent patent filing. iBeacon, Touch ID and Passbook too will have a major refresh in the iPhone 6.
