Apple Confirms WWDC26 Keynote for June 8; Online Developer Conference Runs Through June 12

Apple announced back in March that its WWDC 2026 conference would take place from June 8 to June 12. The company has now confirmed that the keynote presentation will begin at 10:00 AM PDT (10:30 PM IST) on June 8.

WWDC26 will mainly be held online, featuring more than 100 video sessions, live Group Labs, and forum discussions for developers worldwide. Apple will also host a special in-person event at Apple Park on June 8 for over 1,000 invited developers, designers, and students.

Opening Events -

The event kicks off on June 8 with two major presentations focused on upcoming software updates, platform advancements, and expected AI-related announcements.

Apple Keynote – June 8, 10:00 AM PDT - The keynote will provide a first look at the latest updates coming to Apple’s operating systems and platforms. It will be streamed live on Apple’s website, the Apple TV app, and Apple’s YouTube channel, with replay access available afterward.

Platforms State of the Union – June 8, 1:00 PM PDT - Following the keynote, Apple will host a more technical session covering new APIs, developer tools, and platform technologies. The session will stream on the Apple Developer app, Apple Developer website, YouTube, and bilibili.

Developer Sessions and Resources -

Throughout the week, Apple will offer developers several educational and interactive opportunities.

Video Sessions and Guides - Apple engineers and designers will conduct detailed sessions focused on development tools, technologies, and design practices. Curated guides will also help developers explore announcements based on platform and topic.

Group Labs - From Tuesday through Friday, developers can join live online labs and Q&A sessions lasting up to 60 minutes. Topics will include Apple Intelligence, development tools, graphics and games, machine learning, and design. Apple experts will also actively respond to technical questions on the Apple Developer Forums.

Awards and Student Programs -

WWDC will continue highlighting achievements from developers and students around the world.

Apple Design Awards -

The awards celebrate excellence in innovation, creativity, and technical achievement across six categories: Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics. Apple recently revealed 36 finalists, with winners set to be announced soon.

Swift Student Challenge -

Apple’s student developer initiative recognized 350 winners this year, including 50 Distinguished Winners who have been invited to Cupertino for a special three-day in-person experience during WWDC week.
