Asus Zenfone 7 Series to be announced on August 26 with Snapdragon 865 SoC, up to 16GB RAM; [Update:Teaser release, Price leaked]

Update - ASUS has released Zenfone 7 series teaser video on their official Twitter account with a tag line "Get ready to Defy Ordinary #ZenFone 7 is coming soon". According to the teaser video, there is no notch or punch hole on the screen so, it will have a flip-up camera as similar to the Zenfone 6 or maybe pop-up camera.

According to rumors, the Asus ZenFone 7 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor and 5000mAh battery will price at €499 (US$ 595 / Rs. 44,500 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant will price at €549  (US$ 655 / Rs. 49,000 approx.).

Earlier - Asus has confirmed that the Zenfone 7 Series will be introduced on August 26th in Taiwan after that it will launch soon in India. The phone has already listed on Geekbench with model number ZF that revealed some specifications.

Qualcomm also confirmed that the ZenFone 7 will runs on the Snapdragon 865 processor and now, it also confirmed that the company will also launch Zenfone 7 Plus variant along with Zenfone 7. According to the report,  it has a Snapdragon 865 processor with 16 GB of RAM, works on Android 10, and will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. We can expect that the phone will come with a high refresh rate screen, but there is no mention of the screen size, display technology, and camera features.


The Asus Zenfone 7 launch event will be held on Taiwan and will broadcast the live stream on Asus’s official YouTube channel at 2 PM local time. We should know more details and the full specification of the phone in the upcoming days.
