Google Now already has the ability to check for your flight timings and hotel reservations as well as online purchases by looking at your emails. But now Google is also including the ability to search for events if mentioned in a mail thread. Suppose you planned an outing with your friends, say a camping trip but forgot to add it to your calendar. On the day of the event Google Now will add a reminder card for the event. Creepy?
Well, it might be to some. You have total control over the feature and you can simply go into Google Now settings and disable Event suggestions based on Gmail. The update is expected to roll out soon.
