HONOR has launched its latest smartphone in the Power series, the HONOR Power2 in China, delivering on its earlier promise. It features a 6.79-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of up to 8000 nits. It is also the first smartphone to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, scoring around 2.4 million points on AnTuTu, and comes equipped with 12GB of RAM.
The standout feature of the HONOR Power2 is its massive 10,080mAh fourth-generation silicon-carbon battery, rated for six years of durability. This makes it the second smartphone to cross the 10,000mAh battery mark, following HONOR’s own WIN series.
Despite housing such a large battery, the phone weighs only 216 grams and measures under 8mm in thickness. It supports 80W fast charging and also offers 27W reverse charging.
In terms of durability, the device carries Gold Label Three-Proof certification along with SGS five-star reliability certification, ensuring resistance against drops, shocks, and compression. It also boasts an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance, enabling it to withstand high-pressure water jets and even immersion in boiling water up to 85°C.
The HONOR Power2 introduces a distinctive Power Signal Island design, incorporates the brand’s self-developed C1+ RF enhancement chip, and uses an innovative parallel dual-rail antenna system. Together, these deliver up to a 200% improvement in weak-signal performance and ensure strong connectivity across all major network bands.
