HONOR has unveiled three new gaming-focused smartphones at its “HONOR WIN Gaming Universe Carnival” event in Hangzhou, China. The lineup includes the flagship HONOR WIN 2, the performance-oriented HONOR WIN RT2, and the entry-level HONOR WIN Turbo2. The three devices focus on high-refresh-rate displays, large silicon-carbon batteries, advanced processing architectures, and durable construction, with each model offering a distinct combination of performance and cooling features.
Hardware and Performance
The HONOR WIN 2 leads the lineup with a 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor clocked at up to 5.01GHz. It is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. According to HONOR's laboratory tests, the smartphone achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of 5,702,964.

Graphics performance is enhanced by the HONOR Phantom Engine, which uses AI-based rendering separation to improve the 1% low frame rate by 20fps. The system also incorporates an AI ray-tracing pipeline capable of processing up to 120 million equivalent light rays per second.
The HONOR WIN RT2 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It retains the AI rendering separation technology found in the WIN 2, aiming to deliver consistent performance at 2K resolution and 185Hz during extended gaming sessions.
Meanwhile, the HONOR WIN Turbo2 runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform, accompanied by an E2 auxiliary energy management chip. Unlike the other two models, the Turbo2 uses a fanless thermal design, relying on passive cooling instead of active airflow.

Thermal Management
The HONOR WIN 2 and WIN RT2 feature the company's Dongfeng Twin Star Turbine Cooling System, designed to maintain stable performance under sustained workloads.
- Airflow Performance: The dual-fan configuration delivers up to 1.19 CFM of airflow, with HONOR claiming a 150% improvement in heat dissipation compared with conventional single-fan designs.
- Aerodynamic Design: Drawing inspiration from airflow principles used in nuclear cooling towers, the system reportedly improves airflow utilization by 229%.
- Noise Reduction: The dual-arc fan blade design reduces operating wind noise by 9dB while maintaining cooling efficiency.
The HONOR WIN Turbo2 skips mechanical fans in favor of a passive cooling arrangement, prioritizing a slimmer design and silent operation.
Display and Control Features
All three smartphones feature HONOR's 2K 185Hz Oasis display technology and support more than 40 native high-frame-rate games.

- Display performance is managed by the custom WIN DISPLAY chip, which incorporates frequency-division dual-set Demura pixel calibration, chip-level brightness control, and 5,920Hz ultra-high-frequency zero-risk PWM dimming.
- The HONOR WIN Turbo2's display offers a resolution of 3104 × 1440 pixels, with local peak brightness reaching up to 10,000 nits and brightness adjustment down to 1 nit.
- For touch and motion controls, the WIN TOUCH controller enables an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 5,000Hz, a 520Hz 10-finger touch reporting rate, and an 800Hz gyroscope polling rate.
- HONOR has also incorporated several eye-comfort and gaming features, including TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 6.0 and flicker-free certifications, dynamic defocus smoothing, 3D anti-dizziness processing, and low-light gaming balance modes.
- The WIN 2 additionally features a customizable physical WIN Key on the frame for assigning gaming controls, an independent X-axis linear motor, and 3D ultrasonic fingerprint authentication beneath the display.
Battery Capacity and Charging
All three models use HONOR's silicon-carbon Qinghai Lake battery technology, with battery capacity and charging options varying by device.
- HONOR WIN 2: Features a 10,100mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging, alongside a USB 3.2 connection.
- HONOR WIN RT2: Packs a larger 12,070mAh battery designed to support extended gaming sessions.
- HONOR WIN Turbo2: Also houses a 12,070mAh Qinghai Lake 5.0 battery featuring nano-spherical silicon technology. It supports 90W wired fast charging, 27W reverse wired charging, and power-bypass charging to reduce battery wear during gaming.
According to HONOR's internal testing, the WIN Turbo2 can deliver up to 17.7 hours of continuous gaming or 56.6 hours of outdoor navigation.
Network Connectivity and Signal Optimization

The three smartphones integrate HONOR's proprietary C3 RF enhancement chip, supported by dedicated 5G and Wi-Fi processing units.
High-gain side antenna arrays are designed to minimize signal attenuation caused by users' hands during landscape-oriented gaming. HONOR claims that the technology reduces latency under weak-signal conditions by 30% and cuts network stuttering by 45%.
The devices also support LINK Turbo X dual-network fusion, allowing Wi-Fi and mobile data connections to transmit data simultaneously for improved connectivity.
Audio System
The HONOR WIN series features symmetrical dual 1216 speakers designed to deliver immersive gaming audio.
The WIN 2 incorporates an 18cc dual open acoustic chamber, while the WIN Turbo2 uses a 16.7cc acoustic chamber with 0.88mm amplitude, powered by a 12V smart amplifier chip.
AI-based audio processing enhances directional sound cues in games, including footsteps and other environmental sounds, helping players identify the location of nearby opponents more effectively.
Design, Durability, and Software
The HONOR WIN 2 and WIN RT2 share a similar design featuring symmetrical 0.93mm bezels, matte metal middle frames, and a rear WIN Energy Ring with more than 40 customizable lighting effects.
Both models are available in Red & Blue Buff, Win by Choice (Designated Win), and Quick Black color options. The WIN Turbo2 adopts a laser-cut bezel design with a 0.93mm profile and a curved middle frame.
All three smartphones carry IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
On the software front, the devices run MagicOS 11, which includes YOYO smart assistant automation features, cross-platform file transfer support for Android and iOS devices, and system-level optimizations tailored to gaming workloads.
