HTech has been hinting at the imminent launch of the HONOR X9b smartphone in India, following the introduction of the HONOR 90 last year. The company emphasizes the phone's durability, marketing it as an exceptionally robust device labeled as eXtra strong.
Already available in various countries, the phone boasts all-angle Drop Resistance certification from Switzerland’s SGS. Specifications include a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 12GB RAM, a 108MP rear camera, and a robust 5800mAh battery. Operating on Magic OS 7.2 based on Android 13, the HONOR X9b is equipped for high-performance functionality.

As per insider Paras Guglani, the HONOR X9b is anticipated to be priced at less than Rs. 35,000, inclusive of the HONOR Choice Buds bundle. Consequently, the standalone phone is expected to have a price tag below Rs. 30,000. Taking advantage of bank offers, the phone is rumored to be available for as low as Rs. 23,999.
While the precise launch date remains undisclosed, industry speculation suggests that the HONOR X9b is likely to make its debut on either February 8th or 9th.
