HTC has partnered with MediaTek on yet another phone, this time its the Desire 616 with the new MT6592 true octa-core processor which we have seen to perform quite well. The Desire 616 comes with a 5-inch HD display running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC's Sense UI 5.0 on top.
There's a 8 MP camera at the back capable of recording 1080p videos alongwith a 2 MP front-facing camera. It comes with 3G support and 1 GB RAM as well. But at present there is no word on battery or internal storage, but there's a micro SD card slot for expandable memory.
The HTC Desire 616 will be available in White, Red, Yellow and Black colors. It is expected to go on sale in China first and then a possible release in India.
