HUAWEI has launched its latest flagship smartphone the Mate 60 Pro Plus in China, after the launch of Mate 60 and Mate 60 Plus. It has the same 6.82-inch FHD+ OLED quad-curved screen with LTPO 1–120Hz refresh rate technology, 1.07 billion-color display, 1,440Hz PWM dimming, and 2nd Gen Kunlun glass protection. It also has a triple punch-hole screen where a 13MP front camera and 3D depth sensor, enabling accurate face recognition.
Although HUAWEI has not officially disclosed the processors used in the phones, screenshots of the device suggest it features the Kirin 9000s chipset. According to Geekbench, this octa-core processor boasts a clock speed of 2.62 GHz at its highest and 1.53 GHz at its lowest. It has up to 16GB RAM with up to 1TB storage and is based on HarmonyOS 4.0, which offers innovative air gesture controls that allow you to navigate videos, webpages, and images without the need to physically interact with the primary screen.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 48MP super-spotting primary camera with F1.4–F4.0 ten-step variable physical aperture along with a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom camera and a 100x digital zoom. Connectivity options encompass Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.2, featuring LDAC and L2HC codecs. Additionally, it boasts NFC capabilities, along with the inclusion of an IR blaster.
HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro Plus also supports satellite calls over the Tiantong satellite and two-way text messaging over the BeiDou network. But there are no details about what kind of subscription you need for this service. The phone itself holds an IP68 rating and can endure underwater at a depth of 6 meters (20 feet) for up to half an hour.
The HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro Plus is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports up to 88W of fast charging, 50W of wireless fast charging, and 20W reverse wireless charging, which is the fastest reverse wireless charging phone ever.

HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro Plus comes in Black and Cream colors and will be available from September 15 in China and the pre-order has started now. The price of the phone is still not disclosed. For reference, the Mate 60 Pro 12GB RAM with 512GB storage version is priced at 6999 yuan (USD 959 / Rs. 79,404 approx.).
