Infinix has launched its new smartphone in the HOT series, Infinix HOT 70 smartphone in Indonesia as the successor to last year’s HOT 60 model. The smartphone focuses heavily on self-expression, AI integration, and enhanced durability while delivering solid everyday performance.
The HOT 70 lineup debuts Infinix’s new “Dynamic Shine Design” concept and introduces an industry-first selection of 12 colour styles aimed at users who consider smartphones as part of their personal identity and fashion statement.
Design and Build
The Infinix HOT 70 features a slim 7.49mm profile and weighs approximately 195g. The device uses a “Baby-Smooth” anti-fingerprint coating designed to keep the surface clean and comfortable during prolonged usage.
The smartphone lineup introduces several unique rear panel finishes:
- Thermo Orange Edition: Features a temperature-sensitive thermochromic back panel that changes colour depending on temperature conditions. It shifts to Deep Orange below 0°C and transforms into a lighter orange shade around 65°C. Users can also create semi-permanent patterns using custom stamps and molds.
- Quiet Violet and Green Texture Editions: Use a Lumina Flare Dynamic Flame Texture design that creates depth and light-reflecting effects through flame-like microstructures.
- Crystal Mood Island: Featured on selected variants, this faceted camera module ring reflects multiple colours and turns the camera housing into a decorative design element.
The smartphone is available in Thermo Orange, Quiet Violet, Green Texture, Night Pulse, Silver Dancer, and Dive Blue colour options.
Dedicated AI Features
The HOT 70 series introduces a dedicated physical One-Tap AI Button placed within easy thumb reach for quick access to smart AI-powered functions.
AI FlashMemo and MindHub
A short press activates AI FlashMemo, which can intelligently recognize and process on-screen content. The feature can automatically convert flight details into calendar reminders, extract contact details from images, and generate Gmail drafts directly from displayed information.
All collected information is stored inside AI MindHub, a centralized AI-powered knowledge management system that organizes screenshots, notes, and links into a searchable database.
Folax AI and AI Imaging Tools
A long press launches Folax AI, giving users direct access to multiple AI models, including ChatGPT and Google Gemini, allowing them to compare AI-generated responses directly on-screen. The smartphone also supports AI-powered wallpapers and themes. Its 50MP camera system is enhanced with several AI photography tools:
- AI Live Photo Mode: Automatically selects the sharpest image frame
- AI Eraser: Removes unwanted objects from photos
- AI Extender: Expands image backgrounds using generative AI fill
Performance and Display
The Infinix HOT 70 runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor. It features a 6.78-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and High Brightness Mode reaching up to 700 nits for improved outdoor visibility.
The device is equipped with either a 6000mAh single-cell battery or a 5600mAh dual-cell battery, depending on the market. It supports 45W fast charging, capable of fully charging the device in around one hour.
The smartphone also includes All-Scenario Bypass Charging technology that directly powers system components during gaming or heavy workloads to reduce battery heating.
Durability and Software Support
The HOT 70 features an IP65-rated dust and splash-resistant build and has passed SGS-certified military-grade durability testing, including 1.5-meter multi-angle drop tests and repeated front-face impact testing.

Alongside the launch of the standard HOT 70, Infinix also teased the upcoming HOT 70 Pro smartphone. The company confirmed that the higher-end model will feature upgraded design elements, enhanced camera capabilities, and improved overall performance.
